Wambach leads U.S. women over Sweden

Megan Rapinoe opened the scoring in the 34th minute and Wambach added goals in first-half stoppage time and in the 72nd minute.

Wambach scored both goals off headers, the first off a cross from Lori Lindsey and the second off a cross from Rachel Buehler. Wambach has 109 career goals.

The U.S. tied Sweden 1-1 on Tuesday in the first match of the friendly series. Amy Rodriguez scored the lone goal for the U.S. in that match.

The U.S. also beat Sweden in Algarve Cup in March, 2-0. The United States is unbeaten in 10 matches this season, with nine wins and a draw.

Will he or won't he?  Now that the Dallas Cowboys have a new head coach in Wade Phillips, the big question will be: Does Terrell Owens stay with the team.

Jerry Jones continues to suggest that Terrell Owens will remain with the team.

"I've said that he's back, he's here, he's under contract," Jones said. "In the interviews I've just been through (to hire a new coach), it was very clear to me how highly he's thought of and how much of an impact he had on our offensive success."

Chiefs' Treen Green out for Sunday's game

How long Trent Green will remain sidelined is unknown. Coach Herm Edwards said Monday he will miss a second straight start Sunday when the Chiefs host the San Francisco 49ers.
